Tree House

God’s Word is for everyone! We strongly believe at Westminster that it is never too early (or too late) to learn to have a relationship with God. We offer many opportunities for children to hear, read, learn, explore, and experience God’s message so they can get to know our Lord.

Sunday Mornings at Westminster:.

Children are always welcome in our church services!

Cry Room

If you or your children get a little too restless, you may choose to take advantage of our cry room where you can see and hear the worship service.

Nursery Care

Nursery care is offered for infants and toddlers every Sunday morning and during most special events.

Children’s Church

A children’s church time is offered during our 9 am worship service for two age groups.

Children ages 5-7 can enjoy a time of singing, stories, sharing and praise. As families arrive in the sanctuary, they may sign their children ages 5-7 in on the attendance sheet. Children up through age seven attend “Big Church” with their parents for the opening songs, then are dismissed to be escorted together to their own worship in the Christian education building. There they will hear about God’s Word, listen to real life examples of God’s work, learn Bible songs, and spend a few minutes on the playground for some children’s fellowship. At the end of service, parents can sign their children out from the playground.

Younger children, ages 2-4, may either be brought to the nursery and signed in there before the 9 am service begins or parents may escort them to the nursery when the older children are dismissed. Younger children will hear a Bible story, play a game, and make a craft. They will also have the opportunity to play in the nursery or in the playroom next door. Parents can sign their children out from the nursery.

Sunday School

Our children’s Sunday school is offered during our 10:45 am traditional worship service hour. Beginning at 10:30, before the worship service begins, children through 5th grade may be signed in to their age appropriate class at the entrance to the Christian Education building. In class, children will have the opportunity to explore God’s Word in depth, experiencing the messages in many creative ways. The last few minutes of Sunday school will be spent on the playground. At the end of service, parents may sign their children out from the playground.
